Christmas Day 2013 (Pine Close): Tasted blind. Old apple on the nose. Still fruity with apple juice flavour, but somehow tastes old and tired. Hardly any tannins. I guessed Beaujolais or Bourgogne Rouge. This is past it's drinking window. The fruit is getting tired.

The wine had lost some of its overwhelming new fruit flavor, tasted more like a regular Beaujolais. First glass was good 2nd not so much as the faded fruit aftertaste became more obvious and the structure seemed to be falling apart.

Drank during the BN 2011 period. the idea was to taste it and thenmake Gluewine with the rest, however we found it too interesting to waste on gluewine. nothing special, but shouldn't expect anything special for the price. would buy in bulk if i needed to buy lots of cheap party-appropriate wine.
