Oz Farm Slow Dinner--Late Summer 2006 (Point Arena, CA): A special wine. Deep ruby with aromas of red and black briar fruits. Pepper was balanced out with a silky texture in the mouth. Excellent, with all the varietal characteristics of the best zinfandels. Lots of finesse.

Very well done. Expressive nose of blue fruit and christmas spices. More of a silky Zin as opposed to a bruiser. Nice, well-focused black and blue fruit. This has the balance and finesse to please non-Zinfandel drinkers.

unbalanced, alcoholic, this one is for the sink. Too bad since earlier bottles were at least enjoyable.

Not bad, but not great either. Slightly out of balance, with the alcohol clearly showing.
