Cork looked glossy and moist at the top so we thought it was shot (this bottle has definitely not had the best storage throughout the years), but it was extracted cleanly and definitely not tainted, despite the slight bit of seepage. Cool. Initially this was very closed, but after an hour in the decanter this has completely blossomed. Nose is showing lots of toasted, spicy oak (quite pleasant), spicy raspberry, briar, leather, and dried dirt clod. There's more going on, but I'm too distracted to catch all the details. I could smell this for days. Mouthfeel is awesome, definitely light bodied, but hugely complex, showing raspberries, strawberries, and lots of earth and some smoke. There's also this amazingly delicious strawberry cheesecake (including the graham cracker crust) component at the end that floors me. The flavors on the palate are hugely intense, coming through way more than most Pinots. Hits hard with some firm, but ripe tannins. Finish is LONG with tons of perfect red raspberries, and quite a bit of tart fruit. Perhaps the finest Oregon Pinot Noir I've had. I think this wine is peaking right now, but could probably be held for a few more years. The tannins will hold it together, but the fruit may not last too long.

A rich cranberry hue. Beautiful aromas of strawberries, roses, earth, and oak. Wine is quite mellow. Nice flavors of cherry, red currant, spice, and earth, A little tartness on finish. The fruitiness is currently pretty thin so I can't imagine holding onto this wine for much longer.

Has aged well. Classic pinot noir, hints of cherry. Light sediment.

smokey nose, nice currant and cherry flavors. took decanting to get it to open up, could probably go another year or two.
