This was a back-up bottle for T-day. Maybe not the BEST match for classic Thanksgiving fare...this bottle was super savory. Some Kirsch in there. But then the leather, iodine/ kelp, iron ore, fist sized rocks and garrigue carry you away. Now-2024.

This wine is in a good spot right now. It is less viscous and fruit forward than others I had from Tardieu-Laurent. This one is focused around great balance. So "elegance" is the word I would attribute here.

Excellent C9dP, spicy, soft tannins, lots of Grenache character, just a touch of brettanonyces, otherwise very focused and mineral, quite a warm mouthfeel but not hot for C9dP standards, ready for drinking. - 91 points

Ruby. Perfumed CdP nose, plus some thai curry (?) and very light brett on the initial nosing. Mouth-filling, rich, sweet, soy sauce, spice. Alcohol present, albeit less prominent with time. Rather long finish. 87-88.
