  In the glass, Vico is almost opaque; dark purple with an electric shimmer. On the nose, a perfume of dried black cherries, granite, coal, suede, licorice, beach sand, mint, sage blackberry and leather are all eventually coaxed from the glass. It has a silky texture and vibrancy. The finish is endless. Fennel bulb, coffee grounds, dark chocolate and hickory smoke all come back in turn. This is as interesting as it is delicious.
