A year since my last outing with this vintage, and it's still a big and beautiful Barossa. Spicy blue fruit showing no sign of letdown drives across the palate with ample velocity and character. Wish I had some more in the cellar.

Alcohol and pepper on the nose leads into spice, blue fruits, and some oak. Stained tears correctly predict a full bodied palate that is smooth with interesting layers of blue and black fruit, a decent amount of acid and grip, and a surprising subtle orange flavor on the finish (as mentioned in another post.) If you like big reds from Barossa, this delivers the goods at a reasonable price.

Have not got used to the taste and really double if I got a fake bottle. Just like an industrial drink that normally found in supermarket in the first week. But in the second week it seemed to get better but still sweetish.

Medium ruby color. Aroma with blackberry, leather and smoke. Full body lots of fruit, blackberry, raspberry. Viscous mouthfeel. Acidic attack, medium-plus tannins on the mid palate and finish. Not much on complexity.

Quite serious sippin’ wine. Rich, packed with fruit and tar. Prunes and above all, pepper. This is one to dwell on as the waves wash over you.
