My final bottle of several bottles I bought. The importer sticker is covering the back label so I am screwed for any bottle info. From what I recall, this is 100% Chardonnay and should be dosed around 6 g/l. Similar to previous bottles with a green apple, pear, bitter citrus and the same kind of tonic water quality in the finish. The latter quality fades away with air and the wine fattens more, rounding out. I continue to enjoy the Gerbais wines and wish I could see them return to the LA/OC area again. It's been some time since they have been for sale.

I wish i had more of these, as i am (well was) down to my last 2 bottles. The back label info on this is fairly ambiguous, although it gives the EB designation and 100% Chard info. This bottle is chocked up with bitter lemon, green apple and a saline/tonic water quality. Real good again.

Drank great again. Noticeable this time were two things: a good dollop of what seemed like green apple, as well as a distinct saline quality in the finish. While I don't care for the L'Osmose cuvee, I do dig the Prestige.

When a wine repeats success over multiple occasions/settings, then I know I have a winner. This wine did it again. This drinks with polish, showing terrific stuffing, with apple, lemon and a rain water note. Drinks beautifully. This was my final bottle, but we found more and another 6 are on the way. This Gerbais is the real deal, and for the price, fantastic.
