Good wine but didn't find that special identity that brings it on another level. So in the end bit to pricey. Had some better bottles from different cuvees.

- Nose: A little closed at the beginning, but opens up more and more. Quite youthful with very little sign of first maturity. Fresh fruit, a combination of red and black fruit; strawberries, currants, blackberries, plums and some cassis. You can tell that as much fruit as possible has been extracted by whole cluster fermentation. It is a cool, stony, somewhat thorough - unripe (effeu, green pepper) nose. Plus some cedar, forest floor and some cowshed to animal hints.
- Palate: medium alcohol, medium (+) acidity and medium tannins, medium in body. Not heavy at all but still enough pressure in the mouth. Medium in flavour intensity and medium (+) in the finish. Characteristic is the barren rock and the perceptible minerality. For an otherwise so light grape variety Gamay a lot of power and length in the finish.
- 91 points, has a good 5-10 years of storage potential and should still increase in potential.

Very pretty color... precise for 2011. Nice high toned fruit on the nose, with some minerals in place. Overall quite light, but nice and tight. Very tight on the palate with moderate, soft fruit present. The finish dials up with more intensity and some moderate tannins and acid. Mild fruit with lingering raspberries, but it's all incredibly light and compact. You can sense its elegance and beauty for aging, but it's just not meant to be drunk right now. Being that this is already 9 years old and it's so tight, I'm actually thinking to let it sit another ~10 years before its really going to be peaking.

A bit too light for my taste but it´s a good wine. Balanced acids, light tannins and fruity.
