Reddish brown in complexion showing signs of aging, aromas of old leather, baking spices, chalk, Roma tomatoes reminding you of a rustic barnyard. A healthy balance with refreshing acidity, smooth yet medium body. Well refined tannins and a lengthy finish defines this delicious Barolo.

(Cascina Adelaide Barolo Fossati) Medium red violet color; aromatic, sandalwood, plum, berry nose; very tasty, ripe plum, berry, dried berry, black cherry, spice palate with balancing acidity; could use 3-4 more years or substantial aeration; medium-plus finish (14.5% alcohol; natural cork)

A solid La Morra Barolo. We just got better things that night ; B.Mascarello , Vietti , Scavino among others , so it had some hard odds....
