Medium hay color. Perceptible SB-nose of bright citrus. Dry, crisp acidity, lemon and chalk on palate. Light body. Good balance (no distinct edges). Short finish. Pleasant and accessible.

This has the most aromatic bouquet of peach blossom and grass. Very intense fruit on the palate, with pineapples and lemons, balanced by a hint of honey. Fills the mouth and finishes with a bit of lemon meringue. Unique and enjoyable.

This is made with the ripest fruit from the best vineyards compared with the regular Bacchus but it didn't shine through in the glass when tasted alongside each other. It offers up ripe melon, pineapple smells and then the palate delivers a soft ripe fruit on entry followed by a crisp Granny Smith apple finish.

High acid, I found this wine leaner, fresher, less confected than the non-Reserve Bacchus. Notes of tropical fruits, lime, some grassy/herbal notes. Much better than the basic Bacchus.

The wine is clear and bright with a pale lemon colour.
The nose is clean and youthful, showing pronounced intensity aromas of passion fruit, mango, lemon peel, lime juice and hints of fresh grass.
The wine is dry in the mouth with a high zesty and nervy acidity. It has a medium alcohol and a medium body. The flavour concentration is pronounced, with notes of lemon peel, lime juice and hints of tropical fruit and grass. The finish is long.
It is a very good quality wine. Its vibrant acidity is well-balanced by a remarkbale tasty flavour concentration, and it lingers in the mouth for a while. On the other hand the aromatic profile is a bit too simple.
