aromas of nougat, baked apple, chestnut honey, dried flowers... thick and rich on the palate, fresh acids, apple and citrus, nougat and nuttiness galore, intense yeasty character through the finish, but also crisp, fresh and fruity... mature for sure but will motor nicely for many more years...
this has improved a lot on day two, sweeter and brighter on the nose, more citrus and flowers, and on the palate it feels more plush, fresh and balanced, awesome stuff
Days 3, 4, and 5 see this going strong, the finish is so complex and intense, brilliant wine

Beautiful nose with notes of white flowers, lemon, minerals, a hint of white pepper, and just a little bit of riper yellow fruit. High acidity with lots of lemon, lemon zest, minerals, green apple, and juicy fruit on the palate. Long finish. Wow, this is fantastic! Complex, with tons of brightness and almost electric acidity.

Ganevat Dinner (San Francisco): The nose started out a bit weird with a distinct cheese note that thankfully blew off mostly but not completely. The wine showed a bit backwards, but nuanced with notes of lemon and white flowers on the nose. Good acidity on the palate with more lemon and some green apple notes. Good finish. In the end, this was quite good, but looking at my last note it makes me think this may have been an off bottle.

What a wine. Powerful, focused, and long. Just a touch of that Jura oxidative note gives it extra interest on the nose and grip on the palate.
