Good, but still too young. The nose is intoxicating, if still rather primary. Palate is enjoyable but, again, a bit primary and one dimensional - mostly blue fruits. I should have given this *at least* 4 more yrs of bottle age. Oak is still quite obtrusive, even after ample air contact.

Today the heat and tannins are dominant. At least there’s more herby franc flavors, but given the heat I just don’t think it’ll magically become better over time. This vintage was pushed too far in my opinion.

This viscous and herbal Cab Franc is tasty right now, but it probably needs a few more years to gain more definition. Dark red in color; full in body; nose of black cherry, ribeye, and mulberry. Flavors of black cherry, pencil lead, and peppercorn, with a grainy and earthy finish. Blend of 97% Cabernet Franc and 3% Cabernet Sauvignon. 14.8% alcohol. Probably better in 2023 or later.

Day 1 dark fruit balanced and concentrated - day 2 well integrated with a medium to full bodied finish! This 2014 is in a good place since last had in 2019. Never disappointed always consistent and tops my list for Napa Cab Franc!
