PnP about 15 minutes before dinner and sampled while cooking dinner. Color is purple-red, fading through deep ruby red to a hint of orange at the edge. A bit of wood initially that faded within a couple of minutes. Aromas of dark cherry, black cherry and garrigue. On the palate there are dark red fruits, black cherry, bright acid, a hint of tannin and a little bit of heat leaving a mouthwatering finish. Drinking with and after dinner of baked salmon with herbs and bread crumbs, French, green lentils, Brie tarts with cherries, and a salad. A deliciously small bottle.

Evening Land Vineyards Pinot Noir La Source Seven Springs Vineyard 2015. Oregon and Pinot Noir….dark red fruit, dried strawberries, raspberries, tee, flintiness, there is an earthiness to the wine. The Acidity is there but only as a complement to the fruit. 2015 is right in the window now, cheers friends.

Not as good as last bottle. Overpolished with too much vanilla and fruit and not enough structure and detail. Still: good quality fruit and lenght and nice acidity that helps things a bit. Not at all a bad wine but was hoping for a better showing. Fell short of the competition from Europe we had alongside: 2018 Enderle & Moll Liason and 2010 Simon Bize Savigny-Les-Beaune 1er cru Les Fournaux
