On the nose, toast, bright orchard fruit, chalk along with some nuts and honeyed mature notes. Mid weighted and ripe with some flesh and crunch to the ripe orchard fruit. This is more complex than my last bottle in 2020. That flesh is beautifully countered by its acidic lift and chalky tension. Rich yet beautifully balanced. Really well done low dosage. In a great place right now. Outstanding

Was extremely impressed by this. Crisp BdB, but with a depth of flavour and a finish that makes me think it would age into something really quite spectacular.

Sunday hangout (Chicago, IL): "Vinification en cuves INOX et barriques. Fermentation malo-lactique. Pas de filtration. Pas de stabilisation tartrique. Mise en bouteille: mai 2013. Degorgement: juin 2018. Dosage 2,5 g/L." A little more high-toned and white-inflected versus the 2006 Gimonnet Special Club alongside. Despite the relatively low dosage, this doesn't feel thin, but the acid is certainly a bit sharper and more prominent here. White fruit ont he palate with a hint of green herbaceousness on the finish.

Really lovely BdB. Very clean and bright. Tons of lemony citrus, green apple, touch of creaminess. Piercing acidity.Good concentration. Long. Very good. And young still.

Creamy citrus and pear on the palate, yeasty lemon, more almond on the finish. Cereal notes like dry almond honey bunches of oats. Nice texture that's showing a softness as a product of time with good racy energy remaining.
