Served at a home dinner party with lamb meatballs, home made pasta and basil tomato sauce. Probably a bit too aged, not as mush fruit as I remembered when tried at the vineyard. Still had that distinct black pepper finish, mellow allspice/ nutmeg and strawberry taste.

Christmas Eve Dinner with Family (Home): I was very afraid there would be nothing left to this wine, but boy was I wrong. All the tannins have melted away making this a very lush drinker. Yes, some of the bolder fruit flavors were muted, but the mouthfeel was incredible. Hints of cherry, cinnamon. strawberry and pepper. Definitely WOTN. I cannot believe I paid only $14 for this wine. I just wish I had bought more! I do think that if you have any of these now is the time to drink them, as I would estimate at most a year or two left.
