  very dark colour with lighter rim (black cherry like) not clear. nose: ripe black currant plus black cherries; quite intense; some pitch and kirsch. not bad. taste: medium (+) tannins - bit chalky; medium (+) acidity; fruity - black currants, red cherries, black cherries. The fruit is rather ripe and sweet. Tannins bit stick out but drinkable.
