  • SHOULD you be interested, I’ve uploaded info for this vintage which you can peruse at your leisure. 😉

Splash decanted into a plastic, cylindrical pitcher which was then capped for ≈25 min before being returned to the bottle for portage to the restaurant; Tasted ≈90 min after the init decant; Private Preserve after Day 1

N: FRAGRANT cherries with strong notes of creaminess, also a spiciness with hints of pyrazines

P: MF body; Rndish entry with NICE, ALMOST swtish frt met by an acidity which slowly mitigates into a quite LONG, beautifully balanced finish with a sophisticated tangy/SWTNESS & a bit of spiciness. The relatives found it overly high in acidity for their palates, something I noted VERY briefly -- & only after the init sip. It did, however, nicely pair with varied IT entrées.

// Day 3: While the relatives said it held up nicely, they felt it was too acidic for their tastes, making it 1 of their least favorite wines from this producer. However, for me it was EXC (92,93/100 using that paradigm) & still on the upswing! Drink now & into '24, poss longer.
