Had my first taste on day 2. Fragrance, dark fruit, spices all prevalent. I'm not well versed in Pommard, but I would say that tannins are still present with a medium plus acidity. Sounds like it might be less tannic than a typical Pommard from the other notes. Very nice. Would seek this producer again.

Exactly what I expected: pretty red fruits, nice whole cluster spice, light and elegant, nothing to do with typical Pommard but very delicious nonetheless.

BYOB dinner and then some; 2/1/2024-2/2/2024 (Avalon, Amsterdam): [Tasted blind] My immediate association was strawberry ‘roosvicee’ (a typical Dutch squash made with a fair amount of rose pettals), a bitter note, laurel, black currant, cinnamon, lactic note. Medium+ acidity, medium tannins, medium+ finish

On opening the whole cluster dominated the nose, but with just a bit of air everything harmonizes. Red fruited and pretty, sweet fruit. It’s packed with flavor, but is relatively light-bodied and goes down so easily. Lovely.
