Very chambollesque light red colour, explosion of red fruits on the nose, whereas the mouth is less expressive and typical, although a bit elegant. Very short finish for a premier cru quality wine. After two hours earthy and champignon notes with alcohol come out. 87 now considering the grade and q/p.

Wednesday Cellar Visits in Burgundy - Louis Jadot, Faiveley, and Bernard Moreau (Cote d'Or): Barrel tasting at the domaine from a single new oak barrel. Elegant aromatic start showing bright red fruit and spice notes. Similar flavor profile but more firm than I expected. The good density here indicates this will cellar nicely and slowly, so I wouldn't even try a bottle until 2030 forward.
