Delicious nose with blackberry, black cherries, kirsch, a touch of pepper and licorice and at times also mint. Rich and nice power, but also juicy with some bitterness and a medium+ finish with excellent sweet fruit. Not as dense and structured as its peers, but pure and elegant, which makes it easy to drink and enjoy today.

Ruby in color, the wine is all about its elegant, fresh, refined character. Exchanging purity and silky textures for weight and density, there is vibrancy, lift and ample sweet, mildly-spiced kirsch and mint-leaf on the palate which carries though to the long, graceful finish. The wine was made using mostly old vine Grenache that is more than 80 years of age, along with Syrah and Mourvedre. Drink from 2022-2034.
