Adam Lee consistently makes nice wines from wherever. This is also a nice wine with a big nose of cherry fruit and clove, a medium weight body and a palate of black cherry and spice, finishing with minerality and a bit of stemminess(?).

Nose of strawberry. Notes of red cherry, red berries, and a wonderful spice quality with cinnamon & clove. Good acidity & balance. Drink now or during the next year or two.

Solid representation of the 2008 Willamette vintage with plush but not opulent expression right out of the gate and as it opened got more expressive. Don't see it changing much with more age, but drinking well for the next few years.

I would sum this up as having great varietal expression; especially on the nose. The profile was crisp with a strong mid-palate of red, tart fruit and a satisfying, acidic finish. Well balanced structured and pleasing all the way.
