Interesting and unusual combination of (a) textures that seem to show intense minerality and malic acid along with (b) ripe almost tropical fruit flavors.

Scholium Tasting (Trestle on Tenth, NYC): how is this wine still alive? amazing, and my score cannot tell how impressive this was. lime, peach, and underripe pear. med(+) acidity. tartrate crystals all over in the bottle. a little sour on finish.

Cali Pinot, Great Wine, Poor Notes (NYC): This had "sea horses" floating in the bottle according to one of my dinner companions. I haven't seen that before and I believe someone noted it had to do with the barrel being forgotten out in cold. Words used to describe this were "interesting, unique, esoteric". I don't recall anyone saying they loved it.

Scholium Off-Line (Trestle on 10th (NYC)): Surprising. This has aged quite nicely. Still nice fruit and acidity. White peach and some waxy fruit. Easy to drink.
