  • (Lunch w/ GG: bottle 3/4.) Why does this say KO on the label when there's no Malbec in it (that's what I thought KO signified)? Lots of up front, in your face Gamay fruit. Enjoyed after a bottle of the Clos Roche Blanche pink wine, this was like a club to the other's feather. Quite enjoyable, no doubt about that, and it accompanied our outrageous lunch to a "T," but this could stand comparison with some Southern French wines. A dollop of residual sugar's in there, too, if I'm not mistaken.

  • Pure strawberry aroma. Slightly sweet palate of strawberries, with some lime and mineral funk thrown in. Lingering mineral finish, balanced and well structured. Yet another great wine for a hot summer evening, good value at $13.
