(Lunch w/ GG: bottle 3/4.) Why does this say KO on the label when there's no Malbec in it (that's what I thought KO signified)? Lots of up front, in your face Gamay fruit. Enjoyed after a bottle of the Clos Roche Blanche pink wine, this was like a club to the other's feather. Quite enjoyable, no doubt about that, and it accompanied our outrageous lunch to a "T," but this could stand comparison with some Southern French wines. A dollop of residual sugar's in there, too, if I'm not mistaken.

Pure strawberry aroma. Slightly sweet palate of strawberries, with some lime and mineral funk thrown in. Lingering mineral finish, balanced and well structured. Yet another great wine for a hot summer evening, good value at $13.
