  The tannins are present, but soft and round. There is chocolate and blueberry. But it is out of joint, and a lot of manipulation is sticking out and making itself conspicuous.

  Aromas of pencil shavings and plum. Similar flavors on the palate with a smokey aspect. Very dry on the palate which I like, but body is a bit thin and the finish falls short. ($12)

  Gorgeous deep violet color. A nose that needs a little warmth to unlock. Once it's there it has plenty of dark cherries and oak. Good taste and balance but a little light on anything other than fruit. Finishes quick. Good QPR.
