Clear yellow with hint of green. Light to moderate nose of melon, grass and lemon. Palate of lemon and grapefruit with light to moderate finish of lemon and citrus fruit. Crisp and nice acidity. For the price a nice Sav Blanc.

lemon, guava, grapefruit, bell pepper on nose and carry to palate. medium- finish, medium bodied. noticed what looked and felt like a slight presence of gas in the wine. distinctively sav blanc and a good everyday drinker.

So here we have what I consider to be the modern, 2012, so to speak, version of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. They have throttled down all those concentrated, exotic, over the top flavors and aromas into a more balanced and easy drinking wine. We still have, in a more subdued style, the herbal, grassy, pungent, sometimes "eau de gato, enhanced flavors. The papaya, guava, pineapple, and green apple is superbly balanced with fresh, vibrant acidity in a very drinkable, almost soft package. nice job.

Acceptable but a little nondescript.

Simple but enjoyable for what it is. Decent enough to cook with. Slightly more tropical than grassy or citric. Very shallow finish.
