  Nice balance of aged notes. But still with red berry fruit. Very enjoyable overall, dusty tannins, not bitter but not sweet.

  Garnet to russet coloured with a distinctive clay rim. Wonderful nose of delicate red and white petals that are spring fresh. Followed by lots of light red fruit such as raspberries and ripe red grapes. The red fruit continues the delicate pattern on the palate bringing a silky mouthfeel. The wine is now 16 years old and shows lots of old world flavours too like dark choc and farm notes. At perfect equilibrium of constituents. Drink now!

  Beautiful nose of sour cherry, underbrush, spring flowers, balsamic, and saddle leather.
  
  On the palate, it shows tremendous depth and exuberant youthfulness. Layers of red fruit are balanced by fine tannin and complimented by mineral, tobacco, and leather.
  
  The finish lingers long and clean, no astringent drying that can be often found in aged Sangiovese. Great bottle that could have gone longer and it got better and better through dinner. Just entering prime drinking window, drink now - 2026.

  Pours a dark garnet in the glass. The nose has red berry compote, soil and dried, woody herbs. On the palate there is mature red fruit, rich soil and orange peel. All wrapped up in a fine grainy acidity. A truly fine wine in a great drinking window.
