Good QPR... Glad I hung onto it for so long. California fruit with evidence of oak. Medium minus on the finish with little complexity. Medium acidity and tanin. Paired with bourbon glazed chicken. The simplicity of the wine allowed the meal to shine.

A good quality wine. Dense and inky, this poured like blueberry juice when I opened it. It opens up after at least an hour of decanting, and would probably benefit from more time either in the cellar or in the decanter. Despite its mouth-filling density, it drinks easily and is quite nice by itself or with big cuts of beef or grilled mushrooms. For the price, I would buy again.

Cabernet, malbec, petite sirah and petit verdot blend. Inky purple in the glass. Aromas of black and blueberries. On the palate, a fruit-forward and full-bodied beast of a wine with plenty of dark fruits, oak, and hints of cedar and vanilla. With the tannic backbone to last years. Finishes long and hot. Give this an overnight decant or five years in the cellar before consuming.
