This is still surprisingly vibrant and alive at 15. I worried I’d held these too long. Enticing classic reisling nose. Good acidity and length on palate. A bit heavy in body and lacking the finesse to take it to greater heights

This bottle was MUCH better than the previous one I'd opened, which was quite flabby and badly oxidized. This is dark golden in color and has excellent acidity and barely perceptible sweetness along the lines of a tart ripe peach. A beautiful, perfectly balanced riesling starting to show some secondary signs of age...fantastic.

Lovely bright golden orange/yellow colour. Smells very oxidative, quite aldehydic and soapy. A little volatile. Reminds me of Chenin a little, in that it has a waxy, slightly honeyed, peaty, wet-hay character. Pretty interesting wine, has been markedly different from bottle to bottle. It opens up interestingly too, becomes more floral and zesty. It’s tangy and quite powerful on the palate but seems to exhibit more secondary/non-fruit characters, like grilled nuts, seaweed, marmalade... a bit of a saline thing happening in the background. So, doesn’t look like Riesling, doesn’t look like Alsace. Is quite oxidative in style so seems like it could come from anywhere. Nice wine nonetheless, if a bit weird, but not something I would confidently cellar for any longer.

Much better on the nose: white peach, lime coconut, caramel, mint and hints of minerality. Slightly sweet on the nose but dry on the palate, ripe and nice white peaches. Lacks some weight and grip, would be interesting to compare with the VT.

Another flabby and lifeless bottle. Hoping this is a dumb stage, but the bruised apple oxidative notes of the last two bottles (and not in a pleasant sense as I love properly oxidized wines) make me worry that this is a case of premox.
