  • Served from magnum...This wine was simply outstanding. I am always amazed how little credit Arrowood receives a Cabernet producer....maybe it is due to the Sonoma appellation. This wine was redolent with cassis, blackberries and a touch of smoke. Long, lingering finish with outstanding balance. This wine was (sorry) almost Bordeaux like from an age when Bordeaux WAS Bordeaux and not a California look a like. This might have been WOTN among a serious field and still was young. Wish I had more!
