My last bottle from this vintage. How many wines can stand after 20 years. The cork in very good state. When open, cigar, lether and barrel. After ten minutes in deckanter, many flavors of fruitiness.

I have always loved Faustino. I bought this wine with a case back in 2001. It needs time to open up but while I am sad to drink my last bottle, it is definitely overdue. Great wine but I just had a 2004 that was superior, so if you have a 1999, drink it while you can. #lovefaustino #faustino

Garnet hue with orange bricking at the edges. A subtle nose of distinct and soothing roses. Slightly tannic on entry, smooth, but by no means plush, with tastes of dried cherries and a solid note of orange peel, with vanilla lurking in the background. The cherry vanilla fades early, leaving the orange peel to exit with a slow fade. This is a solid effort, and showing quite nicely at nearly two decades. Enjoying the last bottle.

Just singing right out of the bottle. Dusty tart red fruit, bookstore, slightly tart finish. Really nice
