A moderately serious bourgogne that's deffo on the tauter, very dry and flinty side of the CdN. Almost exceptionally drying tannin that took a day or two to get over itself.

Dark red color. Bit of barnyard, soy, chocolate shavings, spice and cherry Heering on the nose. Complicated but not dazzling. The same could be said of the palate, with lots going on. High toned fruit, soy, spice and noticable tannin. Certainly not the fruit bomb that the 2009 vintage has a reputation for! For all of these descriptors, it's not really come together. I'd be curious to try this in 5 years, and again in ten, but this is my only bottle. Enjoyed this with scarlet runner beans, broccolini and squash. Very Good to Excellent.

This continues to develop slowly; a dark, rich wine that you would guess to be at a higher classification.
