Definitely a cut above typical American Pinot Noir. Specifically much more concentration; not the usual anemic fin sour stuff that passes for Pinot. Nose of lilacs and raspberry. Pallet also has prominent fruit but some deep and earthy notes (leather, tapenade? Can't put my finger on it). Basically this is just a really well-made and put together wine, and showing really well right now. If you have this I would drink it soon.

- Ruby color and aromas of mushroom. It's lacking fruit and has flavours of dusty - Good but not great like the last one I tried. It did improve after breathing for 2+ hours but the barnyard taste and nose were still holding back the fruit.

Thanksgiving dinner. Lovely wine-Rather extroverted for a pinot but still true to the varietal. Very impressive when first hits the nose & palate but also with a long finish. Wish I had more.

Drank this bottle on what was supposed to be the end do the world. The news was all about the Mayan apocalypse, I pulled a Ceja from the cellar. Go figure. I could've died happy.

Drinking nicely and evolving right now. Secondary characteristics should continue to come through over the next couple of years. Drink or hold.
