Popped and vintur'd. Soft nose of dark fruit, weak. A really soft cab, w/none of the backbone or classic cab aromas or flavor. Having grown up in the Santa Clara Valley, I was expecting a tannic monster that would age well. Nothing of the sort here, this is a mediocre wine, poor effort.

The Estate sees more oak than the regular Cab, which shows on the nose. There's also a lot more tannin, but there's decent fruit and nice acidity. Needs another year or so for the oak to integrate.
