Simple but fun. Sweet dark fruit, candied berries with a refreshing acidity and noticeable earthiness. A little bit of RS I think, but tempered by the tannin and acidity. Fantastic food pairing with tomato sauce pasta.

Inky purple and slightly effervescent in the glass.
Some crushed berries with an off dry finish that has only a slight bit of sweetness. Not overly complex, but perfect with food or a night on the back deck.
Paired with PEI oysters and it was an awesome match.

Poured at an "Italian" Thanksgiving gathering; paired with mini-meatballs with sage and pine nuts and a cranberry chutney on the side. The frothy, juicy, amabile wine was a perfect match. The fruit was a good match for the sage and a perfect foil to the tart berry flavor of the chutney.

Wait. I don't have tasting notes on this already? Okay. Nose: a little Easter-egg-vinegary to be honest. Not gonna lie, the nose is pretty meh. Palate is good and dry though - this isn't a girls-night-out sweet candy Lambrusco. Dark cherry, strawberry, plum, blackberry and something weirdly tropical like starfruit. It works. I dig it.

Not the amabile but the dry version: very fruity and pleasant appetizer at only 10%
