Excellent Riesling with great acidity and schisty minerality, lemon zests, sweet stone fruits and a hint of honey. Great length. Drink or hold. - 90 points

Too young, but great acid with very strong lemon curd and a subtle trace of petro which was a bit stronger on day 2; if I owned more I would hold for a few years

Austrian Riesling 2010; 9/14/2011-12/31/2011: Pale golden, a bit of fizz at first, but soon cleared up. Crisp, fresh lime and apples on the nose, with a background of almonds and marzipan. Powerful and clean-cut in the mouth, with some zingy acidity. Tasty, but more admirable than lovable as yet.

(Schloss Gobelsburg Riesling Gaisberg) ($35.00) Just bottled, but it shows a kind of peony-jasmine whiteness, honeysuckle under a full moon. A superb spicy vintage of this, sweet berried fruit and the texture of cold ivory.

A very good traditional Riesling, not as sweet as many of the similar us produced varietys. May not be appreciated by those that prefer sweet.
