  • Immaculate bottle and cork. Stored in my cellar since release. Two hour decant off moderate sediment. Deep dark color, no signs of aging. Big, bold dark fruit flavors yet a civilized wine. Multiple layers of complexity and depth. Firm sweet tannins, long finish. At it's apogee. Marvelous wine.
    Perhaps WOTY.

  • One hour opened then one hour in the decanter and 45 min in the fridge. Consumed over 2 hours with A5 Wagyu filet and New York.

Bold Cabernet with plenty of tannins and acidity, long life ahead. Moca, chocolate, berries and dirt. One of the best wines we have had in 2021.

I think this is already at its peak but no rush, it will perform beautifully for a few more years...

  • A very nice wine. better than average. Good fruit, medium tannins, and moderate complexity. Decent finish and normal acidity. Is it worth $300 to $400? No way. It's good, but not great. It did not "blow me away." It was very nice, but not amazing. 93 points.

  • Woh. This one coud go for many more years. Upon initial decanting (had to try a little right away!) it's holding together nicely. This is going to be great in about an hour and half. Already showing it's tobacco and eucalyptus, small amount of fruit. But tastng balanced already. Tight, but I can see what's about to come!

  • Decanted two hours. Powerful, earthy Cabernet with lush, velvety tannins, ripe fruit with even a hint of overripeness, dollops of licorice, long finish. This is a dense wine with some sweetness from the vintage. Not a subtle drink, this masculine effort should please cigar-smoking, steak-eating men and the women who love them.
