  • Not special. I wonder if many would not even be able to identify this as an albarino. Yes, it has nice soft citrus notes on the nose and front end, but I have enjoyed other albarinos much more than this. Hope to identify one before summer comes. Mid to back this fell off a cliff into nothingness.

  • I was VERY pleasantly surprised by this last-minute purchase at the suggestion of my local wine purveyor. Nice aroma, but what is really great about this wine is its clean, crisp acidity and flavors of lemon and peach, perhaps. Just terrific acidity. A great summer sipper or for pairing with light seafood. Can hardly wait to try again.

  • Very pretty aromas of white flowers, mango, orange peel. Amazing depth of flavor and weight to this while maintaining bright and lively acidity. Melon and lemon-lime flavors come out on the palate. Long finish. Will go well with a variety of lighter dishes.

  • A very light in style white wine. I'm sure they made this for easy drinking, probably quite chilled. There is not a lot of initial flavor and aroma, but it builds towards the finish. Dark golden color. Pretty heavy in the mouth, kind of like a combination of Riesling and Chardonnay in viscosity. When you swish it around. it gets very creamy. White flowers and lemon on the nose. Subtle pear and citrus fruit, by no means overpowering. Really does fill the mouth in a unique way. Not very acidic. Might be a little oxidized, though it is so young, how would this happen. Gains some character as it warms in the glass and leads to a a pear citrus and honey finish of surprising length.
