Deep garnet and full-bodied. Aromas of black currant, blackberry, and overwhelming scent of truffles. Flavors of black currant, blackberry, truffles, some cedar, and a hint of vanilla on the finish. Firm tannins and medium to long finish. A bit too much truffle for me, which I feel is outweighing the other lovely flavors. Not a bad wine for the price but I probably will continue my hunt for a great QPR red in the $20-27 range.

this was served with a bear roast and a mule deer roast. it was robust enough to stand up to the wild game and enhanced both of the meats.

Good taste but slightly bitter at the end. Good wine but will not buy again.

No detailed notes, but I recall it as fruit forward and very nice.

Subtle with classic notes of cedar and wheat. Very nice example of good California Cab. Exceptional at this price point
