Really enjoyable, especially at $17. We have a soft spot for Corsican wines after visiting some family there. I've had this in a couple other vintages and it is very consistent. A unique Italian/French blend, as unique as the island culture. Still very young, darker than I would expect. Dark berries and a bit earthy. Enjoyable now, but will improve over the next couple and hold for several. Very nice food wine.

Terrific! This Corsican beauty from the hills above Calvi is earthy and entriquing. The fruit is bright and fresh but completely unique. She starts off as if she was from southern Rhone, but those Corsican varietals, new to most of us, kick in and this lovely shines with charm, a smooth personality, and solid character. Her blend of Niellucciu, granache, siacarellu and syrah lit up a rack of lamb ....and me. I'm getting more of this one!

Very good wine. At the producer price (9 €) is an excellent value for money (one of the best for a corsican wine). Nose is very pleasant, with complexity, the mouth express dark fruits, little pepper, tanin are well melted, good persistence. You can drink it now with a good aeration, or you can wait 2 more years.
