  • Green and gold in colour, intensely crisp, with fresh-cut green apple flavors. Very Good!

  • Seems lke this Burgundy producer decided to head south and look for some good grapes. We are glad he did. To me Picpoul's have been known to be rough and over acidic. This one is not, it is quite civilized. As is the trend I am seeing in white wines from all over the world over the past couple of vintages, they seem to made in a softer, more easy drinking style. Golden in color. Citrus and floral on the nose. This wine tastes big in the mouth, which leads me to believe there has been some lees treatment, possibly even some oak. There is an elegant, soft feel to the citrus and pear fruit, even a touch of melon. Balanced, the acidity is well tuned in for the fruit. Soft, easy finish.
