- Ruby color with slow forming legs and aromas of black currant and blackberry. It's balanced with soft, velvety tannins and has flavours of raisin, cloves, vanilla and some earthiness with a light/medium body. Juicy texture with a medium finish - Good acidity that almost disappears after pairing with a lasagna. Drink now. Not the best Valpolicella I ever had, but still a great QPR.

Light garnet color with ripe black fruits, subtle dried fruit, and cloves. Medium/full bodied with soft tannins, present acidity, and a thin texture. Understated and elegant with enough acidity to accompany a wide range of foods.

No formal note - Drank part of it over 2 days and will keep the rest for a sauce... that says it all. Not an expensive one, but not a good value weekday wine as well (too much oak flavors). Kind of wine where a short length is appreciated ...
