We are getting raspberries and strawberries on the nose - on the palette it is more raspberries and strawberries and clearly also sour cherries - we are also getting a clear floral note - and hints of leather - medium tannins and medium + acidity - and especially acidity is at the moment too dominating - and the reason why we can only give 91 - we however clearly think that this wine has potential for a better rating - so will keep my last bottle for some years.

Ruby to full garnet. Throws a fine sediment. Caught in a halfway house between the primary and the more evolved. Needs air. Not a top vintage for Ursules, but plenty of interest here. Just needs a bit of coaxing and more cellar time. ***

Richard's Jadotfest (La Trompette, Chiswick): Developed nose - earth, mushroom, touch of leather, vestiges of underlying red fruit. Medium bodied, mushroom, spice, resolved tannins, fresh acidity, medium /good length savoury finish. Fully mature.

2019 Jadotfest (La Trompette): Some bricking and this obviously has some age before it's even tasted. Quite chewy, dark and smoky, with a fresh fruity finish, so still relatively youthful, although certainly has no lack of maturity. A lovely wine tonight.

(Louis Jadot Beaune 1er Cru Clos Des Ursules) Burning leaves, dark cherries, and wet earth on the nose. Concentrated and deep with tremendous ripeness. Silky tannins. Very nice.
