  • Unlike a previous bottle, in good condition, mature with perhaps tiny oxidiative notes (this is clearly meant to be in a non-oxidative, Burgundian, style). Very rich and powerful, good acidity and focussed, though. A little more heat (it is 14.5%) on the finish than I'd like. More or less the style of today's Labet, but not quite as precise - I think the wines have got significantly better.

  • Sempre un piacere confrontarsi con Chardonnay d' annata, ben fatti e genuini come questo. Maturo, miele di acacia e cremino al limone.
    Entra in souplesse, quasi magro, scorrevole. Legno ben dosato e tanto senso di stasi.... poi quando pensi che sia finito tutto, cambia marcia. Dicotomia tra la fase abboccata d' ingresso in cui entra il varietale e fase finale in cui va in scena il terroir. Si fa più teso, dritto e affilato, finalmente arriva l' agrume a promuovere la salivazione e la complessità si amplifica, trasformando uno Chardonnay banalotto in un degno figlio del Jura.
    Belle sfaccettature, beva matura, ma ancora fresca e complessità quasi impossibile da trovare in Borgogna per 15€!
    Ribadisco la mia convinzione che sotto i 30€, Jura batte Borgogna 10 a 0!!
