Listed alc is 13.09%--now that is precision. Label shows the wine as 59% Grenache, 17% Mourvedre, 13% Syrah and 11% Counoise. Like with the white I documented earlier, this is also part of the same biodynamic ideal, dry farmed, native yeast, etc. This was opened last night, kept on the counter with only the cork as the closure. It was fairly lean y/day when I had it so what's it like today? Has an interesting aromatic, almost something jammy and present. Juicy and jammy, grippy tannins and that same jammy kind of note in the wine, like a raspberry/cherry jam. I prefer their white better, as this red to me lacks definition, seems rough and out of the balance, not like the white showed. This needs time to settle but the the way the fruit expresses itself in the wine is something that might not sit with me, even with age.
