Nice little pinot, nothing to write Mom about though. Nose seems to show better then the palate, some earth tones and such, maybe two steps above an average wine.

Ruby color with red fruit, oak, sous-bois, baking spice, and damp earth aromas. On the palate, it's light-bodied with vibrant acidity, a supple mouth feel and cherry, raspberry, baking spice, and a fabulous minerality. Long finish.

Drank over three days. Beautiful bouquet showing integrated oak, tart berries, red fruits, funk, sous-bois, and minerals. Indeed, the oak treatment came off masterful, certainly not as oaky as many other 1er Crus, and my research showed the wine saw just 20 percent new oak, as CTer Hank Gillespie already pointed out. Excellent acid and texture, supple, palate-caressing mouthfeel. Elegant and long finish. Excellent Burgundy! 93-94.

Popped and poured. Too much oak showing tonight. Not well balanced.

Nice lighter pinot with lots of cherry, red fruits, some earth and slight funkiness that opened up over a couple hours
