No sense in ageing this any longer so this is now in drinking rotation. Very similar to the last bottle. drinkinhg more like a 25 year old wine. Nose oxidative, flavor good if you enjoy old Chard. Bottle of 2010 opened side by side was in a good place to restore the faith.

This is the forth bottle from this producer tried in the last year that has been POXed. While this has fared better than the Vacoupains as it still had some ripe apple and mineral notes and was serviceable, with good mouth texture the oxidation notes really left me disappointed

Third Thursday Group does Chablis - May 2011 (Willamette Wine Storage, Portland OR): The nose reminds me fully of an apple pastry on a plate, with the fruit and spices mingling with the flaky fresh bread. I get a hint of capers on the nose as well. Clear mineral flavors mix with light apples right away on the palate. Full flavors show themselves only well into the finish, which is always an interesting experience. Very gentle oak shows itself on the finish along with great green apples and a touch of lemon. As the flavors fade out, a full drying sensation lasts long.

Premier & Grand Cru Chablis (Willamette Wine Storage): This wine was a very strange experience. The aromas are like a salty, chlorine filled pool. It also smells precisely like a strange, salted asparagus that's a little past it's prime, coupled with oysters. Very interesting, but not flavors that I'd call appealing. These flavors carry this wine throughout (aroma, palate, finish). Pretty tart. Feels thin and strange with these salted flavors. Not very appetizing for me.

Last bottle and pretty consistent with previous comments overall this has been a disappointment.
