Tasted after 1 hour of air. Medium ruby color. Some medicinal notes on the nose. Round cranberry fruit with some balancing crunch. Still seems like some drying tannins here. A bit of tea. Fades quickly on the finish. Drink up.

This is a warm-weather vintage wine from a relatively warm site, but it has good balance and is just fresh enough after 11 years. Finish is a tad hot—warm vintage after all—but this wine has a lovely nose, pleasurable if fruity mid-palate, and long finish. Frankly it is much better than I expected, and went well with duck confit this evening.

Light garnet, nose of light violets with cedar. Dry with light bitter tannins on the PnP. Restrained red stone fruits, plums and currants. Lighter body. These seemed a little too floral when young, but now tart tannins predominate. Interested to see the development the next several days when the bitter elements subside.

Silky texture, cherry and oak. Lovely example of an Oregon Pinot.
