Pnp. Opened tight. It had a minute about an hour after opening where the dark berry cherry fruit came through, but that didn't last long. Perhaps it was our palate or the other wine overpowered it? We don't know but it was disappointing. If I had more I'd probably sit on it and see what happened because today it was a waste . Astringent.

Much better in the summer ( go figure it's a CNDP!) with some great Turkish grilled lamb. Sweet and v easy to drink, lots of black fruit. Lovely seductive wine but not the complex CNDP we really adore

I last tasted this 5 years ago and was disappointed by a general crudity. Not now. It is definitely a hot climate wine with dried fruit (prunes?) as the most obvious descriptor! Perhaps black olives and licorice too. But it is complex and now smooth on the palate with excellent length. A bit hot due to high alcohol levels perhaps but still a pleasure.

Popped and poured. A hot year, and it shows. A bit pruney. Smooth and tasty, though not particularly complex. Drink up.

Good CNDP. Modern in style, shiny wine, good fruit but lacking in complexity for me
