Trying this as a 28yo aged Hunter Sémillon. Still hanging in there (just). Golden yellow honey with citrus and a strong line of acid holding it together. Don’t wait.

Sunday lunch with the Wine-Ark boys (Frank's place in Matraville): Aromas of honey, slight lemon, butter, fresh cut grass, little toasty notes as well as touches of muted green apple. Juicy and grassy with more green apple here and a little prickle on the mid palate. Medium plus length…Quite lightweight. The nose is better than the palate but this is rather splendid regardless.

10 year Tasting of 2005 Vintage (Bronte, Sydney): strong gold. lightly fragrant, predominantly fruit but with a light toasty edge. sweeter fruits, melons and honey. delicious, well balanced and refined. very youthful for its age, good acidity. drinking very well.

Semillon and Extras (Sydney, Australia): Honey, wax and lanolin aromas. The palate has good texture and complexity, but it fades away slightly early which drops this down a grade.
