Very good, classic Albarino, 13% alc. Colour: full golden Bouquet: fruit salad, grapefruit, white peach, mineral, vegetation Palate: as bouquet, especially luscious stone fruit fruit, lime citrus, creamy, quite full bodied, seems like influence of old oak, long clean acid finish. Good balance between fairly intense fruit, acid and some soft oak character. March 2016

Albarino is one of my Spanish white loves. It reminds me often of Grenache Blanc, in that its high in acidity, and responds to vinification techniques, and can gain some complexity if something besides stainless is done with it: neutral oak, concrete etc. (lees aging anyone?)
Medium yellow color, a pleasant nose of grapefruit & white peach. Bright in the mouth - lime, wet stone, some stone fruit, and a touch of minerality combined with lingering finish.
We need more Albarino imported into the US.
